How To Hide Local Disk Drive Partitions Using Cmd

Today we are going to show how to hide your  local disk (C:\ D:\ E:\ etc.) using commands in your computer. This trick is used to just hide the local disk and the hidden local disk can be retrieved back whenever we want our local disk data. I better recommend you to keep all your important data in one local disk and hide it. Whenever you want to open the stuff, just type a command and get full access to it. Better bookmark this page because,whenever you want to get back your hidden local disk partitions you may forget the commands to type. So,if you bookmark it now, it will be very easy to visit this page and copy the commands.

Steps In Hiding Local Disk (Hard Disk) Using Cmd:-
1. Click on windows button and search for “cmd” (without quotes)  or Press windows + R and then type “cmd” (without quotes) in the text box and hit enter.
2. After opening the command window type “Diskpart” and hit enter
3. Now a new black window will pop-up and ask for the administrator controls. Click on “Yes
4. Now in the new command window type the command “list volume” and hit enter
5. Here, it will display all the available local disks in your computer with their assigned drive letters in new column.
6. Now, select the required local disk you want to hide by typing the command “select volume D“. Here “D” is the drive letter you need to type. I am hiding “D” drive so i have used this letter.

7. Now type the command “Remove letter D“. This command will hide the local disk from your computer.
Note:- This trick will just hide the local disk and their information by removing the allotted letter from the list of local disk letters.You can retrieve your information and hard disk at any time Also Read:-
 
Steps In Retrieving Deleted Local Disk (Hard Disk) Using Cmd:-
1. Follow all the first five steps (1 to 5) till the command “Select volume D“. Here you have removed the letter to the drive and feel like how to get the letter of drive. No problem,Just type the number of the volume. If you want to select a volume with number 2 then type the command like “Select volume 2
2. After you select the volume, type “Assign letter D” to assign the removed letter “D” .
3. Look at the magic and you will find the volume “D” with all the data present inside. Now you will see the local disk has been retrieved.
4.That’s it you have successfully retrieved the hidden volume back to your computer.
