Stop whatsApp Videos, Images Appearing in Gallery on Android

Whatsapp is Really an amazing app and almost everyone is using whatsapp. With lots of people on whatsapp means lots of talking and media sharing. This is common problem for android users that their mobile gallery become very messy due to regularly receiver videos and images from everyone. After some time the limit of videos and images in whatsapp folder cross thousands and start making our gallery a bit laggy. Usually all android phones start taking more and more time to show all content in gallery which is frustrating. It is even a headache to select the unwanted and delete those images and videos, its also time consuming (time is money so we don’t wanna waste it ). In I phones(IOS) they have provided a very simple toggel button in privacy option to stop coming all whatsapp media to gallery But in android we don’t have any kind of option. So we have to be smart and work in our own way to Stop whatsApp Videos, Images  Appearing in gallery.
We don’t need any extra software or a cracked whatsapp to do this trick we just need a simple file explorer software. Default file explore from samsung will not work in this case. If you own a samsung mobile you need to download a new File Explorer. I recommend to Download ES File Explorer and install it. If you already have it you can proceed but if not just download it from above given link.
Follow below given steps to stop all media coming to android gallery.

1. Open Es File Explorer
2. Navigate to WhatsApp> Media > WhatsApp Images  folder.
3. Click on option (3dots ont the top right corner)
4. Click New
5. click file
6. name it  .nomedia  (. is important)
7. click ok

Note:- You will not be able to find this file in explorer because by default in android system folder or files starting from .(DOT) are hidden.
Now Repeat this procedure for Videos and Audio folder and head back to gallery and these folders will no longer show any media in your android gallery.
