Turn On whatsApp Blue Ticks[read receipt] For Custom Contacts

Today i am going to show you a very amazing and important whatsapp trick to turn on whatsapp blue tick for custom contacts. yes you heard it right, You can have read receipt (blue tick once the message is read) between you and your choice and contacts alone. This Method can be used on any whatsapp no matter android, iphone or windows mobile.
Whatsapp doesn’t provide any custom privacy settings for enabling read receipts to individual persons alone. Either you can enable read receipt for everyone or no one. But there is a way to bypass this issue. To enable read receipts between you and your friend, just follow the below steps.

• Create a Whatsapp group.
• Add the only person you wish to have read receipt.
• That’s it done. Now you have a chat thread, where you will have read receipt between you and him/her.

You can create separate groups for separate persons and use that chat thread to have read receipts between you and them.

How does it work?

 As of now, read receipt privacy settings is not being applied to the group chats. It is being provided to only individual chat messages. As per Whatsapp group default settings, once everyone in the group read the message, the message will get blue tick irrespective of its members privacy settings on read receipts. Hence, the group created above have only one person you care, it will show blue tick once they read the message even though they have disabled the read receipt option.
